Bearing Good Fruits: A Christian’s Hallmark

Text: Matthew 7:15-20, Galatians 5:22-23

Message:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As followers of Jesus, we are called to bear good fruits. Our lives should reflect the transformative power of God’s love, and our actions should be a testament to His grace.

In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus teaches us that true discipleship is marked by fruitfulness. He warns us against false prophets who bear bad fruits, and instead, encourages us to produce fruits that glorify God.

What are these good fruits? Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that they are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These fruits are the manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.

As we strive to bear good fruits, let us remember:

– Our fruits are a reflection of our relationship with God.
– Our fruits impact those around us, either drawing them closer to God or pushing them away.
– Our fruits are a testimony to God’s goodness and love.

May we seek to cultivate these fruits in our lives, that we may be a blessing to others and bring glory to our heavenly Father.

Let us ask ourselves: What fruits am I bearing today? Are they fruits that honor God? May we surrender our lives to the Holy Spirit, that He may produce in us an abundance of good fruits, for the glory of God and the benefit of those around us.

May God bless you richly!
